Pacquiao beats Mosley in their Pacquiao vs Mosley fight

Many boxing fans are in tune now to watch Pacquiao vs Mosley fight. Pacquiao's legend continues and outpoints Shane Mosley in their title bout today. Manny Pacquiao, eight-division world champion, succeeded in defending his World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title against Shane Mosely Saturday night (Sunday morning in Manila) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao showcased his trademark power-punching and hand speed in his 12 rounds bout against Shane Mosley. Pacquiao scored a unanimous decision win over Mosley. The three judges scored the fight for Pacquiao: 119-108, 120-108, 120-107.

Boxing fans cheered when Mosley dropped in the third round when hit by a solid left by Pacquiao while Mosley just round around in the ring and failed to do much damage against the Filipino boxing champion.

Pacquiao has made another mark in the boxing history. He earned 10 world titles in eight different weight divisions which made him the only boxer in history who achieved such feat so far. Manny Pacquiao also won a seat in the Philippine House of Representatives and known for his rags to riches story from being a poor boy in hometown in General Santos City to becoming pound for pound boxing king and one of the richest celebrity athletes in the world.

Charice to sing anthem in Pacquiao vs Mosley fight

It’s official… Charice Pempengco will be the one who will sing the Philippines national anthem for Pacquiao vs Mosley fight. The International singing sensation Charice was handpicked by Pacquaio for the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley showdown on May 7 at MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

According to the Filipino boxing icon’s advisor - Michael Koncz, like in his previous fights, it was Pacquiao who handpicked the 18-year-old rising Asian pop star to sing “Lupang Hinirang.”

Koncz also added that they talked to Charice in Los Angeles about singing the anthem and was glad that Charice is already excited to sing in front of millions of boxing enthusiasts from around the world who will going to watch the much anticipated fight. The Team Pacquiao feels honored that Charice agreed to sing in the match.

Shane Mosley insists he will beat Pacquiao

In less than 3 weeks we will see the much awaited Pacquiao vs Mosley Fight which will happen on May 7 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

If Manny Pacquiao thinks that he will easily win his fight against Shane Mosley, he is terribly mistaken.

Shane Mosley said that even if he looked dull in his last two fights against Floyd Mayweather and Sergio Mora, Pacquiao will have a hard time beating him in their 12-round welterweight fight.

According to Mosley, he has the advantage to put an end to Pacquiao wins. Mosley is counting on his size, speed and power and he added that if a lumbering guy like Antonio Margarito can land his best blows on Pacquiao, what more if the guy in front of the Filipino pound-for-pound king is him?

“I have all the (physical) advantages,” Mosley said in an article that appeared in the website of The Ring.

“I’m the bigger man, I’m the fastest guy he’s fought. I have a longer reach. Everything is working in my favor,” Mosley added, who has a wingspan of 74 inches, making it seven inches longer compared to Pacquiao.
Mosley also has the height advantage; he stands 5-foot-9 while Manny Pacquiao stands 5-foot-6

“I just have to make sure I’m 100 percent. I can’t sit back and say I have all these advantages and not work on them. That’s what I’m doing; working on them.” Mosley said.

On the other hand, Pacquiao is not taking Mosley lightly and currently doing his intense training at the Wild Card Boxing Gym.

Pacquiao is not taking Mosley lightly because he think that that Mosley is still someone who has what it takes to KO someone. “It’s dangerous to take somebody for granted,” Pacquiao added.

Everything Is Ok at Pacquiao's Training Camp

It’s less than a month before Pacquiao vs Mosley fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and everything seems Ok at Pacquiao's training camp. At stake is a world welterweight title and everyone are waiting for any pacquiao vs mosley latest news.

“No problems, no concerns,” according to Buboy Fernandez Pacquiao’s long-time friend.

People who are watching Pacquiao preparation for this fight are amazed with his every move which made them believe that Pacquiao will come out victorious in this fight.

Freddie Roach is very pleased with what’s happening at Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood as well with the outcome of sparring sessions of Manny Pacquiao. He is so calm, collected and very confident that Manny will be in top shape before he leaves for England to train another boxer.

While Roach is not around, Fernandez will make sure that Pacquiao will continue his conditioning. Fernandez even recommends to continue the number of sparring rounds of Manny Pacquiao which is eight (8).

“It’s still early to add more rounds. We have four weeks to prepare so we’ll just maintain it,” added Fernandez. But still, Fernandez is taking Manny Pacquiao preparations seriously but very confident that his man will win. In fact, according to Fernandez, “I still watch Mosley’s fights on video almost every night so I can study what he does best and what he doesn’t.”

Pacquiao Won't Allow Mosley To Win

“I’m not going to let that happen.” Said Manny Pacquiao. Pacquiao Vs. Mosley Fight is set on May 7 in Las Vegas.

World Boxing Organization welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao admitted that Mosley will be one of his toughest opponent in his boxing career but he is ready for any type of fight.

“Mosley will come to win, there’s no question about that. A win against me will be big for his career, but I am not going to let that happen. I have been preparing for any type of fight,” His answer to Mosley's prediction about the outcome of Pacquiao vs Mosley Fight.

“Yeah, Manny really pushing himself through his training regimen he almost knock down his sparring partner,” Said Ariza but refused to name Pacquiao's sparring partner so as not to ruin his career.

“The kid Manny was sparring was acting a little cocky and was thinking he was doing pretty good,” Ariza added but then Buboy, the assistant trainer, told Manny to turn up the heat and he started to barrage a combination punches that sent his sparring partner back on the ropes, saving him from going down.

“That really impressed us all. Freddie, myself, Buboy and several onlookers admitted top the close door session,” Said Ariza.
