Pacquiao Ready For Title Defense

Pacquiao is back in Las Vegas late Monday night for his much awaited bout with Mosley and to defend his title for the World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight crown.

He already declared that he is fit and ready after arriving at the Sin City for the first time in two years.

"If you train hard, then you have nothing to worry of course about the fight," he said at the Wild Card gym. "I'm excited and 100 percent in condition."

He sparred against Shawn Porter for the last time which took four rounds against the unbeaten American. Pacquiao logged in 142 total rounds in preparation for his fight against Mosley.

The pound for pound boxing star trained for about three hours in his final workout at the Wild Card gym. His final workout was witnessed by a huge crowd that includes Kenneth Duremdes and Benjie Paras, two of the PBA's 25 greatest players.

Pacquiao and Mosley will be welcomed on Tuesday afternoon by Top Rank Promotions CEO Bob Arum at the Porte Cochere and front lobby of the MGM Grand Hotel for the boxing fighters' traditional grand arrival.

Trainer Freddie Roach and Alex Ariza supervised Pacquiao's training for strength and conditioning early in the morning.

"We're going to the track tomorrow and shake it off a little bit," said Roach minutes after Pacquiao’s training ended in Los Angeles and added "We'll maintain things and just keep the cobwebs off."

The 12-round Pacquiao vs Mosley fight will be on Saturday (Sunday in Manila) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas Nevada. This will be Pacquiao’s seventh time that he will be fighting in the hotel where he holds a 4-1-1 record.
